Silicone side parts

Wax should not come into contact with metal or wood of the mold, while casting foundations, because it adheres there, we offer silicone side parts, which can be attached to the silicone matrices.

We also offer silicone matrices with embedded side parts, but only in the sizes Langstroth 4,9 and 5,1 and Dadant 4,9.
To provide other formats with these side parts, we now offer these items.


Scope of delivery:

• 2 pieces for the sides - 20mm width x 8mm height and slightly longer than the width of the ordered matrices
• 1 piece for the rear, lower part - 20mm width x 4mm height 20mm width x 8mm height and slightly longer than the length of the ordered matrices
• 1 piece for the rear, upper part, with a sealing lip -  20mm width x 2,5mm height incl sealing lip (1mm) and slightly longer than the length of the ordered matrices
• a small gluing set for gluing the silicone parts (primer and glue)
  

This is how it looks completely assembled.
In the photo the upper part with the sealing lip is missing . It is mounted behind the upper matrice, where you can see the black surface on the picture. The foundation mold should be designed so that the sealing lip sits on the lower, rear silicone part with slight pressure.
